Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Pearl Recreation Private Limited, we operate the Ark Lake Resort brand with the goal of offering memorable and seamless guest experiences. We understand that plans can sometimes change. This policy outlines how cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are handled for bookings made directly through our official website.

 

1. Applicability

This policy applies only to bookings made directly through the official Ark Lake Resort website, which is owned and managed by Pearl Recreation Private Limited (“the Company”).

For reservations made through third-party platforms or travel agents, the respective platform’s cancellation and refund terms shall apply.

 

2. Cancellation by Guest

If you wish to cancel a confirmed reservation, please notify us in writing at reservations@arklakeresort.com

Refunds for cancellations will be processed as follows:

Notice Period (before check-in)

Refund Eligibility

14 days or more

100% refund of the amount paid

7 to 13 days

50% refund of the amount paid

Less than 7 days

No refund applicable

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed and credited to the original payment method within 7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.

 

3. Rescheduling / Date Changes

Guests may request to modify booking dates up to 7 days before check-in, subject to availability.
Any rate difference applicable for the new dates will be charged or adjusted accordingly.
Only one rescheduling is permitted per booking.
 

4. Non-Refundable Bookings & Group Events

This policy does not apply to group bookings, weddings, banquets, or events.
All such reservations are strictly non-refundable and are governed by separate written agreements executed with Pearl Recreation Private Limited.

 

5. Cancellations by the Resort

In the unlikely event that a booking must be cancelled by Pearl Recreation Private Limited / Ark Lake Resort due to unforeseen operational reasons, government restrictions, or natural calamities, guests will be offered one of the following options:

A full refund, or
A credit voucher of equal value, redeemable for a future stay within 12 months.
 

6. Force Majeure / Exceptional Circumstances

If your travel plans are affected by natural calamities, pandemic-related restrictions, or verified medical emergencies, the Company will make every effort to offer a credit voucheror partial refund, at its discretion and subject to verification.

 

7. Refund Processing

All eligible refunds will be:

Made to the same account or card used for payment;
Processed within 7 working days of cancellation confirmation; and
Subject to standard banking or payment gateway timelines.

Pearl Recreation Private Limited shall not be liable for delays beyond its control caused by intermediaries such as banks or payment processors.

 

8. Legal Entity & Compliance

All payments, bookings, and refund obligations are between the guest and Pearl Recreation Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U55205MH2022PTC875764).

This policy complies with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and other applicable Indian laws requiring transparent disclosure of refund timelines, communication channels, and entity details.

10. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
